The RelationaL
Dynamics Lab
2 days of Breathwork & Somatics to explore and restore deep connection
SEP 27-28 @ The Grateful Den, Toronto
We’ve lost contact…
Modern life leaves us feeling disconnected – from our own bodies, from other people, from our surroundings.
As the body expands and contracts with every breath, so does its assessment of safety and its capacity to open and connect, or close down.
When we’re disconnected from that embodied flow – we lose touch with the essence of true relating. The busyness and stimulation of our current time then serves as a poor substitute for genuine contact.
The body is left hungry for connection both within and with-out.
In addition to nervous system issues, this gap can play out in patterns of avoidance, over-giving, shutting down, or chasing closeness.

Because…
🫳🏽 Sometimes we want closeness, then pull away when it arrives.
🫴🏼 Sometimes we give too much, get defensive or shut down altogether.
🫳🏽 Sometimes we open to those that cannot meet/see us, and close to those that can.
🫴🏼 Sometimes we long for connection but don’t trust it when it’s offered.
This push–pull is natural, it’s the body’s way of protecting us.
Of attuning to our needs for connection and authenticity.
Without understanding how these dynamics play out inside ourselves, it’s easy to stay in cycles that leave us feeling alone, misunderstood, or disconnected – even when we’re surrounded by people we love.
Especially if we are not in embodied awareness of what’s going on.

Ready to master the human relational dance?
This weekend is a space to notice those dynamics, and start shifting them, through the body, not just the mind.
We’ll begin with connection to self, then expand into connection with others, so that what you practise here can ripple out into every area of your life.
